By creating an account or using Wisp (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Wisp account. By registering, you confirm that you are an adult and, where applicable, a parent or guardian who is setting up the Service for use by children in your care. You are responsible for supervising and authorising children’s use of the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@wisp.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of abusing the Service or circumventing usage limits.
Wisp offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and you retain access until the period ends. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

Stories generated by Wisp are produced by AI models (currently Anthropic Claude and OpenAI). While we implement content safety filters and moderation, we cannot guarantee that every piece of AI-generated content will be perfectly appropriate for every child. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it with children in your care.
AI-generated stories are provided for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may print or save stories for your own family’s private use. You may not publish, sell, or distribute AI-generated stories from Wisp as your own original work.
The Wisp name, logo, software, and all non-AI-generated content (UI, copy, design) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You retain any intellectual property rights in content you provide as input to the Service (e.g. the names and preferences you enter for child profiles). By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to use that input solely to provide and improve the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always meet your expectations. AI models can produce unexpected outputs — please exercise parental judgement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wisp and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction where we operate.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice within the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
